Online casino security is one of the prior concerns of all internet gamblers. Are you concerned about the funds you are dealing online? You should be. Look at the report published by one of the online casino operator of Europe called Betfair. They have done a survey and found out that online gamblers’ confidence is at its all time low. The reasons for this online casino security concerns are:

securityAccording to the survey done by Betfair, some startling results have come to the fore:

  • Only 1/3rd of the UK gambling players know that US government has seized the accounts of online poker players of America.
  • Only 1/2 of the US gambling players know that US government has seized the accounts of online poker players of America.
  • 60% of those players who knew that US gambling accounts were seized by the US government were very worried about their account.
  • 3 out of 4 players surveyed were concerned about cheating done by online poker rooms.

It has also been found in the survey that after the account seizures done by the US government 76% of the surveyed US players had changed their accounts. They tried to find a safe haven for their account so that it doesn’t get raided by the Federal government.

Now, the patrons of online gambling industry want reassurance that their gambling money will remain safe and secured in their accounts at the time of payment process as well as while playing.

Online gambling analysts and experts believe that only changing accounts will not solve the matter. Need of the hour is to repeal the legislation called UIGEA (Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act).
