Antoine Walker, the famed NBA player, was nabbed by police on Thursday from Harray’s Casino on charges of felony. He was accused of owing more than $800,000 in 3 casinos (Red Rock Resort, Planet Hollywood and Caesars Palace) of Las Vegas. According to police charges Antoine Walker had passed on checks and also obtained credit with non-sufficient funds in his account.

Later Antoine Walker had received bail on an amount of $135,000. But initially his bail amount was fixed at $905,050. It is scheduled that Antoine will have to appear on Monday in Las Vegas Justice Court.

It has been reported that Antoine Walker was there in South Lake Tahoe to attend the celebrity golf tournament, South Lake Tahoe.

Police has reported that they had received a complaint from one of the employees of Harray’s Casino. That employee had heard about the felony charges against the NBA star Antoine Walker on TV and he rightly thought it was his moral duty to inform the police. Thus, he approached a deputy, who was on foot patrol duty, informing him about the presence of Antoine Walker in their casino. After getting this report police got in action quickly to nab Antoine and ultimately arrested him from one of the bars of Harray’s Casino.

News is also trickling in that Antoine Walker had repaid $178,000 to the casinos even before the charges against him were made. Walker is having off-court troubles for the last couple of years. In 2007 he and his relatives were robbed by some robbers at gun point.
