Blackjack Type – Online and Land Based
There are basically two different types of blackjack, namely, casino blackjack and online blackjack. Casino blackjacks are played in traditional casinos. Online blackjack, on the other hand, is played in different online casinos over the internet. Both blackjack types has its own form of thrill and specialties.
Casino blackjack type is the game that is played by the players in the land based casinos. It is played in big casinos where tables, dealers are all real ones. This is the conventional type of game. The thrill of playing blackjack in a real casino involves all sorts of luxury and glitz. In a casino blackjack, you will find people all around the place having fun under the glittering lights of the land based casino. - First thing we will do after entering a casino is to go into the blackjack pit, i.e. where people are playing the game of blackjack.
- Then we will find a table of our choice to play casino blackjack.
- We will select the table on the basis of bet we are capable of managing. Suppose we want to bet on a hand of US$2. In such a case we will select a table where the minimum is either US$1 or US$2.
- After selecting the table, we will see how many players are seated in that table. If there are 2 players – one at the extreme left hand position of the dealer (i.e. first baseman's spot) and other at the center spot. If this is the case then we will select anchorman's spot.
- After taking our seat, we will place some amount of money on the table.
- The dealer will convert this cash amount to casino chips.

The dealer shuffles the cards and puts in front of any player to cut it, which he/she can refuse to cut (out of superstition). Generally the player at the first base cuts the deck. Then the dealer burns a card, the procedure of placement of a single card that can decide fate of the other cards in the deck. After the cards are shuffled, cut and burned, the actual betting starts.
- Multiple deck casino Blackjack Type
There are many blackjack games where more than one deck of cards are used. Thus, this game can be anything from double-deck game to six-deck one. Among these, the most popular ones are 4 deck and 6 deck ones.
Online blackjack is nothing but the internet version of real blackjack played in land based casinos. These online blackjack type games are powered by specially manufactured softwares.
